Ultra-high hardness with uniform hardness throughout
Manufactured using a high-chromium alloy casting process, the surface hardness reaches HRC 60–68 with a core-to-surface hardness variance of ≤2 HRC. Consistent hardness from surface to core ensures the wear rate does not accelerate over time—vastly outperforming low-chromium balls (HRC 40–50) and standard forged steel balls.
Dense microstructure and extremely low breakage rate
Utilizes a fully automated oil-quenching heat treatment process to produce a fine-grained structure with excellent impact toughness. The breakage rate is stably controlled below 0.8%; the balls resist cracking, spalling, and deformation under prolonged mill impact, maintaining consistent sphericity.
High density for powerful grinding impact
With a density of 7.5–7.8 g/cm³, the ball's own weight generates sufficient kinetic energy for crushing, delivering superior grinding efficiency for hard materials such as hard ores, cement clinker, and quartz sand.
Acid/alkali corrosion resistance; suitable for wet grinding
The high-chromium alloy forms a protective passivation film, resisting electrochemical corrosion in acidic or alkaline slurry environments. It resists rusting and spalling during long-term use in wet mineral processing, significantly reducing the risk of slurry contamination.
